Community Strengthening

The CLANA FOUNDATION carries out processes of support and strengthening for community gardens and social organizations, focusing primarily on:

  • Sharing agroecological and ecopsychological practices related to the community garden with the community.
  • Enhancing the development of skills in collaboration and community commitment through cooperation for the functioning of the community garden.
  • Guiding and supporting the community participation process through activities focused on self-care and holistic health.
  • Developing pedagogical competencies to convey knowledge in management and education, such as therapeutic gardening and conscious eating.
  • Promoting networks of exchange and reciprocity among members of the community garden and their surroundings.
  • Providing governance tools and participatory dialogue to social organizations.
