Objectives

Community Life

We will foster a community structure based on loving and rotating services, setting the rhythm of the day with the sun and the elements of nature.

The key aspects of this experience are: living in a Sanctuary of Life and Peace, sharing transformative learnings, and experiencing a regenerative culture. Additionally, we will design regenerative life plans and practice mindful living, applying what is learned during the Residency to everyday life.

Where?

The CLANA Foundation is a demonstration and retreat center located in Laguna Verde, Valparaíso, Chile. Its purpose is to research, experiment with, and share regenerative living alternatives for communities and individuals, focusing on environmental education, holistic health, self-knowledge, and well-being through the dialogue of knowledge, agroecology, ecopsychology, and permaculture.

In 2022, the CLANA Foundation was recognized as a Sanctuary of Life and Peace by Casa Latina (Council of Human Settlements of the Americas), the International Alliance for the Rights of Mother Earth, and the Global Ecovillage Network.

The CLANA Foundation is also the Chilean headquarters of Koru Transformación Institute of Ecopsychology.

General Program of the Residency

During 2 weeks, you will experience:

 

  • Practical Self-Knowledge: Learn by doing, with a theoretical-practical approach in agroecology, permaculture, and good living.
  • Psychocorporal Work: Participate in activities that integrate body and mind.
  • Conscious Eating: Discover how to nourish your body in a healthy and sustainable way.
  • Enriching Discussions: Join debates and talks that will expand your perspective.
  • Spiritual Practices: Explore transcultural shamanism and ecopsychology for a deeper connection with nature.
  • Daily Transcendental Connection: Immerse yourself in activities that inspire and connect: singing, dancing, storytelling, and moments of silence.

Complementary courses and therapies:

January 24-29: Training course in Ecopsychology “Immersion in Nature. Going wild to awaken the Ecological Unconscious.” In-person module of Ecotuning Training, international training in applied Ecopsychology by Koru Transformación.
February 1-6, 2025: Training course in Ecopsychology “Econaut. Awakening the consciousness of Being Nature.” In-person module of Ecotuning Training, international training in applied Ecopsychology by Koru Transformación.

Complementary Therapies: You will be able to access personalized sessions of Ecotherapy, massages, reiki, coaching, transpersonal psychotherapy and shamanic healing with discounts.

Ways to Participate and Values

Regular residency: Reciprocity: USD 50 / CLP 50,000 per day.

Volunteer residency: Reciprocity: USD 25 / CLP 25,000 per day.

This option includes a collaboration agreement on specific maintenance tasks at the center, such as garden care, maintenance of dry bathrooms, general cleaning, kitchen support, support in community activities, etc.

Participation in complementary workshops and therapies: Residents will have the option to participate with a 50% discount on the workshops and therapies that are being taught during their stay.

 

Participation in the regenerative residencies includes accommodation, conscious eating, workshops, and experiential education experiences.

 

Inquire about solidarity scholarships for adventurous individuals who do not have the financial resources to participate in the regenerative residencies.
