
22 Aug Network of Therapeutic Family Gardens and Regenerative Life Plans in Laguna Verde
This program aims to improve the quality of life and the relationship with the land for the inhabitants of Laguna Verde.
Specific objectives of the program:
- Mitigate environmental contamination through Regenerative Life Plans as a strategy for community participation and resilience.
- Strengthen participants’ health awareness by recognizing their connection to nature.
- Reconnect families with the care and management of the network of gardens as a source of ecopsychosocial nutrition.
- Facilitate access to water and waste management through permaculture practices in the families of Laguna Verde.
Activities conducted in the program:
- Online and in-person training workshops on topics such as soil analysis, reuse of household organic waste, vermicomposting and composting, worm breeding, and biofilters.
- Community workdays/workshops where knowledge is shared and collaborative work is done in the gardens of each participating family.
- Personal growth days and Well-Being days from an Ecopsychology perspective.
- Workshops for children that integrate all project activities and the design of generative educational experiences, especially for children.
- Conversational sessions for collective dream weaving and process evaluation.
